Sara is not anarchist. she likes democracy
She likes the way her school is run
She likes having graffiti everywhere but not bithcing just nice graffiti.
Theres no bitching in their school because they have freedom.
they are not allowed to smoke weed and if you do it a few times you will get kicked out.
She agrees smoking & drinking is not allowed in school because they wouldn't be able to concentrate.
All schools are mixed & thinks it is old school over here.
She doesn`t like how we wear uniforms
In school they are allowed to use their phones whilst we need to clean for 5 hours or pay E20.
School hours are about the same.
They are allowed off to buy lunch while we have to stay in.
In their school their canteen is vegan. she is a vegetarian.
Piercings are allowed anywhere on the body in school. we get told to take them out

They go on two trips in school, Berlin & here.
Theres not much fighting in school as they accept everyone
They have youth houses where they rule it& no supervision, they can drink & smoke weed etc.
He helps animal rights and 94% of the money goes to supporting animals. You can do this from th eage of 16.
He is going to fight against the Nazis soon in Sweden (with bats). Parents dont agree, but have no say. Hes an anarchist, he doesn't want a leader they want to have something they all agree on.
hes vegan & feels strong about animal right, Misses bacon * spare ribs. They make bacon but they get the crap stuff, Ireland gets the good stuff. He drinks vodka , allergic to beer. He was stressed at 14 and began to smoke. Hes addicted to sugar & smokes. He believes coca cola kills people so wont drink branded drinks as they have little or no human rights. There is fish in fanta & corn in coke. He only really eats veg & tofu & soup. He is going home today & cant wait for food like falafel with tomato sauce. he loves Dublin & would love to come back. He found a CD shop in town with punk music which he loves. His school is covered in graffiti eg penises haha. someone was killed because he wouldn't give someone his hat & there was a wall dedicated to him. They have allot of freedom in classes eg all access on the Internet. He goes to a private school which costs E150 to go each month. If they get caught with weed they just get it taken from them & maybe a fine. 4 grammes = 8euro.There is allot of prostitution & hard drugs in certain places. He isn't a part of one religion he just believes in karma. Dorms in school where always mixed from the age of 5 but just as friends now mostly. There is not much pregnancy because they get abortions. He would love a child but its up to the woman as it is her body.  Women get payed 18% less than men due to them being sexist.  He believes everyone is equal.

Denmark People:)

Yesterday we were surprised to meet a group of sixteen year olds from Denmark. This is their first time coming to Ireland.  They came in to talk about the differences between the two countries such as, mixed dorms & schools, smoking, drinking, subjects, exams, teachings & teachers, discipline, rules and pregnancy. Two people from Denmark got up to ask our group questions and me & Paul got up to ask them our questions. We all got on well so they are coming back today but they are joining our groups instead of having two big groups.

Our Favourite > Fine blade of grass boii

Although we did have a soft spot for team ehs ideas, we decided our favourite film made in the week was by `Fine Blade of Grass Boii`. They made their own version of Big Brother as Gaeilge and called it Dearthair Mhor. In their film they covered every stereotype in Ireland such as spicers, junkies, alcoholics, down & outs and the culchies who fell in love with a cow. All their ideas fitted well together and the songs suited the characters such as the Father ted song in the background of the culchy scene. the voice overs were also very funny. Haw haw.

Today done some animation, we started off making 2 small films with stick men, 1 was  of two stickmen fighting with a ladder falling in the background. Our other animation was of a cowboy on a horse holding a laso moving across the screen with a tumbleweed blowing across the screen.

We also had to make a movie using play dough figures. Ours was titled "Poor Bob". Its about a man named Bob in the park when another character comes in and shoots him dead when a policeman starts the chase. Hope you enjoy!!!

Today we went to Green Machine Exhibition where we seen many ideas and inventions which were Eco friendly.  After seeing all these inventions we were given some paper and markers.  We where then told to come up with some ideas on how to solve food waste. We had many ideas such as the `Freeze Lunchbox` which would be be used to keep the food preserved for longer than an ordinary lunchbox. We decided to use our other idea which was `Scale-N-Shop` this was a small devise containing a questionnaire which asked questions about your age, sex, sport activities, what food you want to buy, and how many people your cooking for. After calculating all your answers the Scale-N-Shop will then tell you how much of the food you are going to need to buy.  This helps prevent you buying too much food and helps you to save money. We also decided you could register online and after giving your details you would receive a membership card, this card contains all your details. When you go into the shop you hand in the card and in return get your device. This prevents theft. On your first use you can save your profile, this saves you having to enter your details everytime you use the device.

Take Me Out - Amomonous

On our first day in the bridge to college programme we had to introduce our team.  we deceided to do a Take Me Out kind of thing.  We had Ryan as the fella who was looking for a date and then Carly,Amy and Ruth were the 'lucky' ladies.  Paul was the presenter.  In the video we filmed a few funny scenes around the trinity college grounds.  So of them included Ryan playing sport and acting out a star wars scene.  Then we returned to the b2c oriel house and filmed the rest.  We just done all different ideas and in the end they all worked well together.   HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!!!!!
